How are eating habits after dental veneers?- Veneers Before After

I can’t tear with my front teeth as much as before. Only when eating things like corn on the cob and BBQ ribs. It’s not like I eat those things that much anyway, but when I do I tend to cut them off instead of nawing away. I might be controlling, but that’s what I do.

No you are not restricted I probably wouldn’t be biting down on nacho chips. It just may not be comfortable. it may be wise to try to refrain from drinking items that stain the teeth. Even thought he veneers will cover, the back of the teeth can stiil get discolored.

You should be more concerned about the diet restrictions after the veneers. I’ve had lawyers and accountants (well-informed people, generally speaking) who conitinued eating carrots, apples, potato chips, etc as if the veneers were their natural teeth. Huge mistake! Huge. Consider that veneers are like womens’ acrylic nails. They can pop off easily, regardless of your dental professional’s ability.
